Busking in the 21st Century

Description

Ever feel like you’re performing to the back of people’s phones? That everyone is just way too darn distractible? That’s the world we now live in, for better or worse, as highlighted by the fabulous David Cohen, who we commissioned to create this fantastic cartoon back in 2015.

The artist, David Cohen, is a drummer/percussionist and cartoonist for the Asheville (NC) Citizen-Times. He first started making cartoons about street performance after the Asheville Buskers Collective started fighting against local restrictions. You can find David here. If you like it, he’s available for commissioned works.

Both versions come in JPG and PDF formats, for printing and/or digital viewing. They are sold on an Attribution-NonCommercial license. You can print and display them, but not sell them, and we must be attributed if you display/share them online. We’d appreciate a link to our shop.
