Dear friends,

We’re now well into the fundraising/yelling/panicking stage, and have begun crowd-funding (check out the link in the sidebar to Kickstarter). Basically, people like yourselves give a small amount of money, and it all adds up to a pile of money which gets this project going!

In return for money, our donors are getting rewards (buttons, bracelets, copies of the DVD, recognition, etc). We want to give people who donate $25 or more a CD to say thank you. So, if you’re a musician of any style and from any walk of life, get involved! Here’s the deal:

What you give
You mail me one of your cds, and email me the digital images that created your album cover. Cost to you: 1 CD (+ p&p)

What I do
When someone donates enough money, and chooses your cd as the reward, I’ll burn them a copy and post it to them.

What you get

  • Thousands of people seeing you on our profiles and links on these sites: kickstarter, indiegogo, twitter, facebook, vimeo, jumo, sponsume (and lots of other places)
  • Interest from anyone who chooses your album
  • Links to your website(s) from ours
  • Potential customers!
  • A feeling of good will!

In the last two days a lot of artists have offered to get involved. Some are buskers, some are not, and they’re from a massive range of styles — very poignant considering our mission. But check them out:

Jason Green – blues
Rupert Boyd – classical guitar
William Ruiz – percussionist
Thoth – international legend/mythical god
Suki Rae – flutist and everything else
Gavin Harper – jazz
Mecca Bodega – peace and love
Toytrain – ambient rock
GioSafari – guitarist

Join them, and us! Because in return for the cost of just one CD, you’ll get a lot of online marketing. Several artists that I’ve helped in the past have been contacted for gigs thanks to my efforts, so that could happen for you too — or maybe just more people coming to your next concert. Oh, and you also get to tell people that you are supporting struggling artists. 🙂

CONTACT US FOR MORE INFO!

If you need any other information, or have questions, please feel free to ask. We can, for example, give people a link to a digital download of the album, but that’s not the preferred method! Also, some people are offering songs to put on a compilation CD, if you’d like to go in for that. Whatever is good!

Thank you for reading this, and I really do hope that you get involved. Hope you’re well,
